The holiday season may be behind us with the work year now in full swing, but there are still plenty of opportunities for bike-related adventure and inspiration.

Merri-bek BUG at the Sydney Road Street Party: Sunday March 5
Visit Merri-bek BUG at the Sydney Road Street Party on from 12:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday March 5. You can get advice on where locals can source cheap or free bikes and chat with members about bike routes or local cycling issues people want to raise.

International Women's Day Embrace Your Skills Workshop: Tuesday March 7
Join our hosts Kristina Rivers and Angie Toriggino from ISMOTION and members of the Bicycle Network Women’s Community on the eve of International Women’s Day for this inspirational workshop.
Be ready to find the confidence in yourself to get out on your bike, go for your first group ride or sign up for that event you have always wanted to do and take the next step on your riding journey with the support from our community.
This workshop will be hosted on Zoom from 7.15pm to 8.30 pm. A link will be sent to all registered participants.

International Women's Day Embrace Equity Ride: Wednesday March 8
Kick off your International Women’s Day 2023 with our inclusive social rides and join us as we #EmbraceEquity.
Together we can work collectively to impact positive change for women on bikes and help forge an equal world. There are rides taking place in Melbourne and Tasmania of varying lengths and start times, but all involving caffeine.

Beechworth Granite Classic: April 28, 29 and 30
Set in the Victorian high country, the Beechworth Granite Classic is an exploration of the scenic gravel roads around the town, taking riders through private farm lanes, fire roads and forest tracks. Options are available for all levels of experience and enthusiasm, all starting and finishing at the Beechworth Historic Precinct:
- 15km / 220m vert / 11am
- 45 km / 690m vert / 9:30am
- 90km / 1100m vert / 8:30am
- 115km / 1400m vert / 7:30am
