Bike skills sessions in Tasmania
Back on your Bike sessions are run for 90 minutes in small groups, or 60 minutes for one-on-one sessions, tailored to participants, and can focus on:

Group Sessions
If you can get together a small group of up to four riders, we will set a time and date to run a 90-minute session that suits you. Just let us know your contact details, where you are, and your level of ability.
So, ask your siblings, cousins, partners, friends, teammates, housemates or workmates to get together and get riding again.

One-On-One Sessions
We can offer one-on-one sessions in the Greater Hobart areas for those that can’t make a group session or need a little extra help to get back on their bike. The sessions run for 60 minutes and are tailored to your individual riding needs.

Workplaces & community groups
Are you keen to get your workplace, community group or club back on their bike? We can help with a tailored Back on your Bike session delivered for all abilities.
National Ride2Work Day is being held this year on Wednesday 15 October and is a great opportunity for workplaces to focus on helping more people ride to work.

FAQs
Who can join?
Back on your Bike is suitable for adults and children who are beginner or intermediate riders and want to build on their bike riding skills and confidence in a safe and encouraging environment. It’s currently being offerred in Tasmania only.
What to bring?
Bring along your bike, helmet and drink bottle. We can bring a bike and helmet for you if you don’t have your own.
What’s the cost?
Back on your Bike is part-funded by a Road Safety Advisory Council grant but we also need to charge for sessions to help cover costs. When you contact us we’ll give you a quote, which includes any travel costs outside of Hobart.
