United Energy Around the Bay went live on Tuesday 13 May at Melbourne's Albert Park.
The iconic one-day cycling event around Port Phillip Bay, known as 'the ride that stops Melbourne', will take place on Sunday 26 October 2025 this year.
Participants can choose from five different ride options: lap the track (family ride), 50km, 100km, 135km and the 'Classic' 220km.
Bicycle Network CEO Alison McCormack said this year's event promised to be a winner.
"We're so excited to bring Around the Bay back for 2025! This event has now been running for more than 30 years and is the ultimate bike-based celebration of Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay," she said.
"With five distance options and beautiful scenery no matter what you choose, it really is the ride for everyone and promises to be an amazing day out."
United Energy Around the Bay's charity partner this year is Maddie Riewoldt's Vision, an organisation set up in honour of a young woman who died aged 26 from bone marrow failure syndrome.
Maddie's brother, AFL star Nick Riewoldt, spoke at the launch. "This ride isn't just about the challenge — it's about coming together to make real change for those who need it most," he said.
"I encourage everyone to sign up for the ride."
Register by 2 June for early bird pricing and a free jersey for rides over 100km.
Kids under 15 ride free in the lap the track and 50km ride divisions.
