Our Bicycle Network film night brought more than 50 members and supporters together in mid November to celebrate our 50-year birthday.
Each guest received a printed version of Ride On magazine which featured articles about the history of the Tasmanian and Victorian operations.
After hearing from CEO Alison McCormack and local staff the gathering watched documentary Lael Rides Around the World about the World Record attempt for fastest ride around the globe.

Help Anne celebrate her 85th birthday
Anne was born in The Netherlands and has always ridden a bicycle but in the last few years her osteoarthritis has stopped her and she really misses the joy of getting around on her bike.
Anne turns 85 next year and a fit relative has promised to ride her around Hobart on a tandem bike during their Easter visit if she can find one.
If you have a tandem bicycle you are willing to lend Anne for 5 days during easter 2026 please send us a message at tasoffice@bicyclenetwork.com.au and we'll get back to you in early December.
The one trail Anne is really looking forward to riding on is the Pipeline Track’s new extension, so a bike suitable for gravel trails would be ideal.
