Lezyne bike pumps recalled

Two high pressure bike pumps typically used for seating tubeless tires have been recalled because the air chamber can forcefully eject from the base of the pump when pressurised, posing a risk of serious injury from impact to the user or bystander.

An incident causing injury has occurred.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycle floor pumps: the Lezyne Pressure Overdrive 2016–2021 and the Lezyne Digital Pressure Overdrive 2016–2021.

The problem was a manufacturing fault.

The recalled products can be identified by a bleed port in the base. Models not recalled do not have the bleed port.

Consumers can register to obtain a free replacement pump along with instructions to disable the faulty products.

The product was sold nationally, internationally and online between 1 January 2016 and 5 November 2025.
