Registration is now open for National Ride2School Day on Friday 20 March 2026.
National Ride2School Day is Australia's biggest celebration of active travel for school students and their community, and one of the best days on the school calendar.
Running annually, it sees students, teachers and parents travelling actively to school, experiencing the joy of riding and helping to build healthy habits for the future.

When you register your school for National Ride2School Day, your school will receive a free registration pack with posters, stickers and resources to help build excitement for the day.
Sign up by 24 February 2026 to receive your free registration pack.
Bicycle Network also invites Victorian students to design a poster advertising National Ride2School Day 2026.
The winning artwork will become the official event poster and the student will receive a brand-new bike and helmet!
With the school year wrapping up, this could be a great creative activity for students to reflect on what they love about walking, riding, scooting and skating to school.
Submissions close Monday 15 December and more information can be found here. The winner will be announced during Term 1 2026.
