Riders are advised to plan ahead for disruptions on several rail lines. Bikes are not allowed on board buses unless folded and in a bag the size of a Brompton; coaches have some limited capacity for bikes.

Craigieburn Line
Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Craigieburn from 8.40pm Friday 27 February to last service Sunday 1 March.

Coaches replace evening trains for the entire journey from Sunday 1 March to Tuesday 3 March.

Coaches replace some late night Bendigo Line trains for the entire journey on Sunday 22 February.
Coaches replace trains on all three lines for the entire journey from Monday 23 February to Sunday 8 March.
Traralgon Line
Coaches replace evening trains for the entire journey from Sunday 22 February to Wednesday 25 February.
Seymour, Shepparton and Albury lines
Coaches replace Seymour and Shepparton line trains from the evening of Friday 27 February to Monday 2 March.
Coaches also replace trains for the entire journey between Southern Cross and Albury on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March.
Coaches replace evening trains on the Seymour Line for the entire journey from Sunday 8 March to Wednesday 11 March.
Alamein Line
Buses replace trains between Camberwell and Alamein from 11.30pm Friday 6 March to last service Sunday 8 March.
Belgrave and Lilydale lines
Buses replace trains between Parliament and Box Hill from 11pm Friday 6 March to last service 8 March.
