Police seek facts on fatal crash

The Major Collision Investigation Unit has asked the public for information following a fatal collision involving a bike rider at Maryborough on Thursday 28 May.

Emergency services responded to a collision on Timor Road about 4.30pm.
 
The rider, a 67-year-old Maryborough man, was treated at the scene but died.
 
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old woman also from the Maryborough area, stopped at the scene.
 
Detectives interviewed the driver who has since been released pending further investigation.
 
Investigators wish to speak to anyone who travelled along Timor Road about 4.20pm and witnessed the cyclist or collision.
