Recall: Babboe cargo bikes

All 16 cargo bikes in the range sold by Babboe NV in Australia have been recalled due to a serious fault with the frames.

The frames may crack or break near the bottom bracket where the cranks/pedals are fitted.

Should this occur when the bikes are being used there is a risk of crash and serious injury to the riders or passengers.

Incidents have occurred and caused injuries overseas

Babboe cargo bikes have two or three wheels and include a cargo box on the front, which is often used to transport children, pets and/or cargo. The bikes are available with or without electric pedal assistance.

Riders should stop using the product immediately.

For more information on how to arrange refunds, please visit the website https://internationalcargobike.com/, call 1800 889 690 (8 am to 5 pm AEST Monday to Friday), or email service.au@babboe.com
