Riders travelling through the Melbourne city centre this coming Sunday 10 May will encounter disruptions due to the Mother's Day Classic.
The annual fun run and walk will follow a new 12-kilometre course this year and include a new half marathon option, with participants following the Main Yarra Trail out to Burnley before returning to the event village in Alexandra Gardens.
The course will follow the Main Yarra Trail on both the northern and southern banks and extend along Yarra Boulevard.
The Main Yarra Trail will be closed to bike and scooter traffic from 6.30am to 9am in both directions, with traffic management and volunteers along the trail.
Detours will be in place, see map below for details.
