Decathlon has recalled its SL100 Rear LED battery powered bike light due to safety concerns.
The rear LED light attaches to the seat post of a bicycle with an elastic fastening system, has two modes (continuous or flashing) and comes in yellow, black or pink.
The battery compartment is not adequately secured and the button batteries in the product are easily accessible.
If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death.
In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
Consumers should stop using the product and return the lights to the nearest Decathlon store for a full refund.
