Major changes to rail and road arrangements at Hopper Crossing continue as the level crossing removal and road bridge work move forward.
Detours for pedestrians and bike riders are in place at the Hoppers Lane and Princes Highway intersection until late April.
In April the project will lay asphalt and line-mark Old Geelong Road, Princes Highway and Hoppers Lane and continue works on the new pedestrian and cyclist overpass, and southern and northern plazas leading into Hoppers Crossing Station.
Riders should follow detour signage and instructions from traffic management.
Be aware that buses replace trains on the Werribee line between Laverton and Werribee from 8.30pm Friday 15 April to last service Monday 18 April. Note that bikes are not permitted on replacement buses.
If you are connecting the Federation Trail note that a number of detours for car traffic will be in place:
No right turn from 323 Princes Highway service lane into Princes Highway between 7am and 5pm until Wednesday 30 March.
Princes Highway closed both ways between Hoppers Lane and the new road bridge (including Hoppers Lane/Princes Highway intersection) between 9pm and 6am, on Sunday 3 April.
