There will be minor disruptions to bike traffic at the east end of the CBD in the next few days.
The works are associated with a project to upgrade various air handling and emergency systems at stations on Melbourne’s underground loop.
This project will run into next year and is expected to impact on bike facilities from time to time at a number of locations in the CBD.
Macarthur Street at the east end of the CBD will be closed for the next few nights to northbound traffic.
All traffic including bikes will be diverted up Spring Street to Nicholson Street and to Albert and Victoria Streets.
The closure will be between Spring Street and St Andrews Place between Monday 20th June and Wednesday 22nd June.
The hours of the closure are 10 pm to 5am.
Tram services will operate as normal.
