Council wants Sunbury North path advice

Hume City Council is seeking feedback on traffic issues within the Sunbury North area bounded by Riddell Road, Bendigo railway line and Jacksons Creek.

The council is looking for feedback on a wide range of traffic-related issues in this area, but a key component pertains to walking and riding. Specifically, the council seeks to understand access, connectivity, and the existing and future needs for bike lanes, bike paths, footpaths and shared paths.

Following the consultation process, council will investigate and develop a draft plan to address the issues. Funding of up to $233,000 has been proposed in the 2024–2025 council budget to implement actions arising from the consultation.

An interactive map tool for providing feedback is available on the Hume City Council website here.

Consultation will be open until Monday 12 September.
