The ribbon has officially been cut on Mosman’s new boardwalk, a scenic thoroughfare for riders and walkers.
The new boardwalk runs between Balmoral Beach and Taronga Zoo, and is the perfect setting for a gentle seaside ride.
"There is nothing better than being able to walk around our beautiful Sydney Harbour,” said the Member for North Shore Felicity Wilson.
"This project has also been designed and built with sustainability front of mind, using more than 100 recycled tyres and low carbon concrete, while also minimising the impacts on trees." Ms Wilson said.
The boardwalk includes lighting and sculptures by Indigenous artist Maddison Gibbs.
The $1 million project was funded as part of the NSW Government’s Public Spaces Legacy Program.
