Police seeking information on Mount Waverley fatal

Police are seeking witnesses and information regarding a collision on 8 March that resulted in the death of a bike rider.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Waverley Road and Stephensons Road about 6.40am after reports of a collision between a truck and a rider.

Ambulance crews treated a male cyclist at the scene but unfortunately he could not be revived.

He has been identified as Gazi Azraf Ezaz, 18, a student from Bangladesh studying physiotherapy at Monash University.

The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and is currently speaking with police.
