Police seek witnesses to Lamborghini crash with bike

Police have charged a man following a crash involving a Lamborghini and a bike in Chapel Street, Prahran, on Saturday night.

Police allege a white Lamborghini was travelling along Chapel Street, near Walker Street, just after 10.30pm, when the vehicle struck a 46-year-old man on a bicycle crossing the road.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 14-year-old male passenger of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries.

The 24-year-old Sunshine West man driving the car was interviewed and has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and reckless conduct endangering life.

He has been bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ court on 16 October.
