Train disruptions on the way in April

Riders using trains to complete their journeys in the next fortnight should be aware of bus replacement services affecting several routes around Melbourne.

Buses will replace trains along sections of the Frankston, Belgrave, Lilydale, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines. Only bikes that are folded and bagged are permitted on buses.

Glenhuntly Station will be closed until early August as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project on the Frankston line.

From Monday 3 April shuttle buses will operate between Caulfield and Ormond Stations to complete the journey along the Frankston line.

Buses will also replace trains on the Frankston line between South Yarra and Moorabbin from 8:30pm on Friday 31 March until the last service on Sunday 2 April.

On Sunday 9 April, Monday 10 April, Tuesday 11 April and Wednesday 12 April  buses will replace trains on the Pakenham and Cranbourne line, between Caulfield and Westall Stations from 8:30pm until the last service on Sunday 9 April, Monday 10 April, Tuesday 11 April and Wednesday 12 April.

The Level Crossing Removal Project is also impacting travel along the Belgrave and Lilydale lines. Buses are replacing trains between Camberwell and Box Hill stations until late May.

Buses will also replace trains along these lines between Camberwell and Ringwood from 6:00am Saturday 1 April until 6:00am Sunday April 2.
