Come to our E-bike Expo

As part of our efforts to promote healthy living and active transport in the community, Bicycle Network will be running an E-bike Expo at the Brunswick Velodrome on Sunday 7 April.

The free event will take place from 11am until 3pm and give people a chance to test ride e-bikes in the velodrome space, on both flat ground and the track itself.

Vendors will be available to advise on the many types of e-bikes on the market and which models may suit different lifestyles, whether it's a bike to carry the shopping, kids and dog or just give your riding a little bit of extra oomph!

There will also be entertainment, speakers, food and drink and Merri-Bek Council’s transport team will be on hand to engage with the community about sustainable transport in the area.

On the day, there will be e-bikes available to try from:

  • Tern
  • Lug+Carrie
  • CargoCycles
  • Brompton Electric
  • And more!

Delivered in partnership with our hosts the Brunswick Cycling Club, the E-bike Expo is part of a broader Bicycle Network campaign across April to promote the uptake of e-bikes in the community.

There will be more details to come on both the expo and the campaign itself, but for now, if you or someone you know is curious about e-bikes, be sure to save the date.
