Toward the pinnacle of women’s bike riding
A new docuseries takes viewers behind the scenes of the Tour de France Femmes and the challenges faced by the Lidl-Trek women’s team as they take on the toughest task in the sport. Over three 40-minute instalments, Second to None follows the journey of world-class riders, including three-time Olympian Amanda Spratt, in their pursuit of ultimate glory. Bikes and bright lights
For fans of both bicycles and live theatre, a new production at Adelaide’s Hothouse Theatre promises to hit the spot. Symphonie of the Bicycle is an 80-minute dramedy of an aspiring rider as he looks to leave a dead-end job in the dust, and reach the pinnacle of the elite bike riding world. Ride down to the 2pm matinee performance on June 29 for a 10% discount and a community BBQ, though you may be required to take a selfie on your bike. Read more.
