Further closures in Lennox Street

Riders on Lennox Street, Richmond, may face disruption over the next month as works on a new water main continues to process along the street.

Lennox Street will be closed between Little Butler St & Elizabeth Streets from 20 September until 18 October 2024.

Lennox Street will also be closed also Elizabeth and Garfield Streets over the same period.

However, rider access will be maintained by walking bikes around the worksites via the footpath.

Works will be underway from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

The new main will service the major housing project scheduled for Elizabeth Street.

Previously, Lennox Street, was closed between Victoria and Elizabeth from 27 August until 20 September.
