The Transport for Melbourne lobby group will stage a free event in November to review progress with Melbourne’s transport development.
Delivering Melbourne Better Transport Outcomes by Doing More with Less will feature expert guest speakers including:
- Janet Rice, former Australian Green Senator and holder of transport portfolio;
- Professor Graham Currie Chair of Public Transport and Director of Research (Transport and Engineering), Monash University;
- Dr Elliot Fishman, Director of the Institute for Sensible Transport, Melbourne-based transport consultants;
- Dr Luisiana Paganelli, senior urban planner and architect from Curitiba, Brazil, specialist in sustainable transport governance.
Discussion will be chaired by Roger Taylor, Chair of Transport for Melbourne
The event will be held on Friday 15th November 2024 at The Green Building conference room, ground floor 60 Leicester Street, Carlton. (Near Queen Victoria Market)
