Looking for some extra motivation to get those wheels turning in the spring?
Getting involved in Biketober could be just the thing.
The inclusive bike challenge is open to riders of all levels, who can register as an individual, or as a workplace and encourage their colleagues to join in the fun.
Any bike ride ten minutes or longer help build the individual and workplace tally, with prizes on offer for those at the front of the pack at month’s end.
Encouragement is the essence of the Biketober challenge, so you’ll not only earn points for your bike trips, but also for encouraging friends, family and colleagues to come along for the ride.
A $3000 bike of your choice and a $4000 holiday are among the prizes on offer, while everyone that registers will receive a year of RACV Bike Assist for free.
Biketober coincides with National Ride2Work Day on October 16, and commuters are also encouraged to register their rides with Bicycle Network to help us understand where we need better places to ride.
