Train travel impacts for October

Riders who take their bikes on trains may encounter disruptions over the coming weeks, as buses replace trains on routes around Melbourne.

Riders should note that bikes are not permitted to be carried on replacement buses, unless they are folded and bagged.

Buses will replace trains at the following times.

On the Sunbury line between North Melbourne and Sunshine stations:

  • From 8.45pm Friday 25 October to last service Sunday 27 October
  • From 8.30pm Tuesday to last service Tuesday 29 October.

On the Pakenham & Cranbourne lines between Caulfield and Westall stations:

  • From 8pm to the last service Tuesday 29 October.

On the Pakenham line between Berwick and East Pakenham stations:

  • From 7.30pm Wednesday 23 October to the last service Wednesday 23 October.

On the Frankston and Stony Point lines between Cheltenham, Frankston and Stony Point stations:

  • From 8.30pm Friday 18 October to last service Sunday 20 October
  • From 1am Saturday 10 August to last service Sunday 11 August.
