Bike riders still have the opportunity to have a say on potential improvements to the bike route along Coppin Street in Richmond.
This north-south route links right through top the Main Yarra Trail as well as connecting to major routes on Elizabeth Street, Swan Street and local attractions.
But the safety of the route is compromised by conflict with motor traffic that for inexplicable reasons regards the street as a fast arterial connection.
Yarra City has been trialing intersection treatments that seem to have abated the crush and attracted more riders to a lower-risk environment.
Now it is seeking feedback on your experience with a pinmap for comments and observations of the street.
There is an in-person information session on Saturday 7 December from 10am to 12pm at Barkly Gardens in Richmond.
Consultation closes on 16 December 2024 You can comment on the map here
