Riders who take their bikes on trains along the Werribee and Williamstown lines will face disruptions during March as the new X’Trapolis 2.0 trains continue testing on the network.
Buses will also replace trains on the Pakenham, Cranbourne and Sunbury lines.
On the Werribee and Williamstown lines, buses will replace trains between Newport and Werribee during evenings on dates between 1–3, 7–10, 14–19, 22–23 and 26–30 April 2025 (a total of 20 evenings).
Bus times are Sunday to Thursday nights, 20:30 to last train; Friday night, 22:30 to 05:00; and Saturday night, 22:30 to 06:00.
On the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines buses will replace trains between Parliament and Westall from first service to approximately 21:00, Monday 14 April and Tuesday 15 April 2025, and first service to last service, Thursday 17 April 2025.
On the Sunbury line buses will replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunbury between first service to approximately 21:00, Monday 14 April and Tuesday 15 April 2025, and first service to last service, Thursday 17 April 2025.
Note, bikes are not permitted on buses unless folded, in a bag, and the dimensions of a folded Brompton.
