Recall: Reid Entity Helmet
A helmet designed for the mountain bike market has been recalled because of a faulty chin strap.

The male buckle end on a specific batch of the Reid Entity MH 15 helmet may separate from the chin strap because the strap has not been folded and sewn.

There is a risk of serious injury or death in the event of a collision if the buckle separates from the strap and the helmet comes off the user’s head.

Riders should stop using the helmet immediately and check the strap. Contact BikesOnline or Reid Cycles, where the helmets were sold, to arrange for a repair or return the item to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund.

The fault is isolated to a particular production batch and does not affect the helmet's design, which otherwise meets the required specifications.

The product was available between 23 September 2023 and 11 July 2025.

The helmets were sold in two sizes, large or medium, and were black or black with lime or light blue highlights.
