Central Sydney bike hub opens
Riders travelling into Sydney's city centre can now securely park their bikes at the newly opened Circular Quay bike hub.

The City of Sydney-owned facility is accessible from the Pitt Street cycleway and offers $5 all-day bike parking or a monthly membership for $60.

The hub, run by Secure Parking, is accessible through Ah Toy Lane and hosts parking for 200 bikes, including larger cargo bikes, along with 400 lockers, 28 showers and a clothes dryer.

It is available 24 hours a day for those with membership and is staffed periodically on weekdays.

Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore AO, said: "We continue to make it easier and more convenient for office, retail and other workers to make the healthy and affordable choice to ride.

"Many people who ride don't have these fantastic facilities at their place of work. We've stepped in because cycling helps reduce emissions and congestion on our roads and public transport."

The hub has opened as the central Sydney bike network continues to expand, with the opening of the Oxford Street West cycleway earlier this year.
