Works to relocate underground electricity cables will close a convenient bike connection for riders along the Main Yarra Trail in Docklands.
The short section of Siddeley Street on Yarra north bank that connects the Seafarers Bridge to Wurundjeri Way will be closed for three weeks.
Riders who wish to connect to Wurundjeri Way/Flinders Street can still do so by travelling east along Siddeley Street or riding downstream past the heritage wharf crane.
Works are scheduled from Monday 13 October until Friday 7 November, during the following times:
- 8am–4pm and 10pm–5am Monday to Friday
- 8am–4pm and 10pm–5am Saturday and Sunday.
Traffic management will be in place to safely guide vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians around the work areas.
