The Cube Agree C:62 road bicycle models with carbon frame and fork have been recalled.
Hard braking force can cause the outermost carbon layers on the left fork to delaminate, resulting in cracks and weakening of the fork structure.
This can lead to a complete failure of the left fork blade.
There is a risk of death, serious injury or property damage in the event of crash if the fork fails while the bike is in use.
Cube attributes the fork fault to a change in the resin material used in the manufacture of the carbon fibre fork.
Consumers should stop using the affected bikes immediately, visit the
Cube website to check their frame serial number and return to the place of purchase for inspection and to replace the affected fork.
