Bicycle Network is seeking volunteers around Australia to count bikes on Super Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
As in previous years, hundreds of volunteers will monitor intersections during the morning rush to gather data on how many people are commuting by bike, e-bike or e-scooter.
This vital data is then used by councils and decision-makers to inform transport and infrastructure policy.
Super Tuesday data provides detailed, long-term information on active transport directional flow, gender and volumes of riders.
Fifty-three councils across Australia have signed on for this year's Super Tuesday count, with spots available in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, regional Victoria and NSW, Adelaide and Tasmania. Counting takes place from 7am to 9am.
Super Tuesday volunteers will receive a $70 donation to be given to an organisation or charity on their behalf, or put towards a Bicycle Network membership.
More than 1,000 volunteers took part in Super Tuesday 2025 across over 900 sites – be amongst them this year!
You can sign up to join the count and snap up a spot near your home, work, school or favourite riding route here.
