Fifty-one schools across Western Australia will share over $325,000 in grants to boost active transport.
The funding, which is delivered through the state government's Your Move program, is aimed at supporting schools to improve their bike and pedestrian access, skills and infrastructure.
Projects supported by the funds include bike and scooter parking infrastructure, bike skills workshops, pedestrian road safety education sessions and balance bikes for beginning riders.
More than $26,000 has been allocated to six schools in regional Western Australia.

In 2025 the Your Move program recorded one of its strongest years to date for active travel to and from school, with a 9% jump in active travel across participating schools and a 6% reduction in car use.
Transport Minister, Rita Saffioti, said: "Supporting our kids to walk, wheel or ride to school has significant positive impacts on their physical, social and mental wellbeing.
"The Your Move program is delivering great results across WA, encouraging active travel early in life and helping to foster long-term healthy habits in our communities."
