Specialized e-bike recall
Specialized has recalled its Turbo Como SL e-bike models because of a fork fault.

The fork steerer tube may develop a crack which could lead to a failure of the fork.

There is a risk of serious injury or death from a collision if the fork fails during use. Incidents involving the fork failing have occurred overseas.

Consumers are advised to stop using the fork immediately and contact the nearest authorised Specialized retailer to schedule a service appointment for the fork to be replaced free of charge, or for a refund.

Replacement parts are expected to be available in May 2026.

The recall applies to forks on all Turbo Como SL bikes sold from 2021 onwards – in all colors and sizes. This includes all Turbo Como SL 4.0 and 5.0 bikes, with belt or chain drive.

Specialized Como bikes without the SL model designation are not affected.

The bike was sold by Specialized dealers nationally and online between 16 March 2021 and 16 January 2026.
