Riders are urged to plan ahead for disruptions on several train lines this month. Bikes are not allowed on board buses unless folded and in a bag the size of a Brompton; coaches have some limited capacity for bikes.
Glen Waverley Line
Buses replace trains between Richmond and Glen Waverley from 11pm Friday 10 April to last service Sunday 19 April.
Werribee Line
Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from 8.30pm to last service each night, Monday 6 April to Thursday 9 April.
Buses also replace trains between Newport and Werribee from first service Wednesday 15 April to 5am Saturday 25 April.
Werribee and Williamstown lines
Buses replace trains between North Melbourne, Werribee and Williamstown from 8.30pm Friday 10 April to last service Tuesday 14 April.
Geelong and Warrnambool lines
There will be maintenance and upgrade works along both lines from Saturday 11 April to Friday 24 April; disruptions may occur.
Belgrave, Lilydale and Alamein lines
Buses replace trains between Parliament and Burnley from 8:30pm to last service each night, Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April.
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
Train services start and end at South Yarra from 8pm to last service each night, Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April.
Sunbury Line
Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunshine from 8pm to last service each night, Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April.
Bendigo Line
Coaches replace evening trains for the entire journey from Sunday 19 April to Wednesday 22 April.
Gippsland Line
Coaches replace evening trains for part of the journey from Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April, and for the whole journey from Sunday 19 April to Wednesday 22 April.
