Perth: e-bike rider dies after collision with bus

Officers from WA Police’s Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in a southern suburb of Perth on Thursday, 7 May.
 
Police say a public bus and an e-bike collided near the roundabout at the intersection of Tunnicliffe Street and Parmelia Avenue in Parmelia at around 3:30 pm.
 
The 37-year-old male rider of the electric bicycle was transported to Rockingham Hospital for treatment, where he sadly later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
 
Police say the passengers of the bus, along with the 59-year-old driver, were not injured.
