Brunswick Tram Depot works closures
Bike riders will be affected in the coming weeks by continuing works to relocate and upgrade underground services around the Brunswick Tram Depot.

To relocate underground services, there will be lane closures at times on Sydney Road between Peveril Street and Mitchell Street from now until late July.

To complete sewer service investigations, the northern end of Colebrook Street near Moreland Road will be closed on Wednesday 27 May and Thursday 28 May between 7am and 5pm and for five days in July.

To relocate services on the corner of Cameron and Peveril streets, access to Peveril Street from Cameron Street will be detoured via Sydney Road on weekdays between Wednesday 3 June and Wednesday 10 June, from 7am to 5pm.

Sydney Road will also be closed overnight between Donald Street and Mitchell Street on Friday 3 July, 9pm to 7am, to set up concrete barriers and fencing near the tram depot.

Additionally, there will be temporary lane, carpark and footpath closures on Sydney Road between Donald Street and the Brunswick Tram Depot at various times from 9pm, Friday 3 July to 5am, Thursday 7 August.

This is to allow for the construction of drainage and upgrade power supplies and underground services in the area. New bike hoops, parking signs and traffic signalling infrastructure will also be installed.
