Path detours in Sunshine

Works for Melbourne Airport Rail will close a section of the trail between Footscray and Sunshine over the coming weeks.

For several hundred metres immediately south of Sunshine Station, the path will be closed, with bikes and pedestrians detoured along Drayton Street and Station Street.
 
The works involve digging a trench along the shared path to install in-ground protection for the new jet fuel pipeline.
 
Riders should be familiar with the changed conditions at this location as the detour has been utilised on a number of occasions over recent years.
The detour will be in place from 7am Tuesday 21 July to 6pm Friday 14 August.
 
Signage will be in place.
