Bicycle Network is excited to host international urban mobility expert Marco te Brömmelstroet as part of his Australian tour this August.
Professor te Brömmelstroet hails from the University of Amsterdam and is one of the world’s leading thinkers on urban mobility and liveable cities.
A charismatic and hugely knowledgeable speaker, Professor te Brömmelstroet challenges conventional approaches to planning and encourages us to see streets not simply as places for moving vehicles, but as spaces that can improve health, strengthen community and enhance everyday life.
An Evening with Marco te Brömmelstroet will feature his acclaimed keynote presentation, “The Hill of Hysteria: Why Every Car-Free City Policy Faces Public Resistance (and Then Acceptance)”, followed by a live Q&A with Elliott Fishman, Founder of the Institute of Sensible Transport, and networking drinks on the Bicycle Network rooftop.
The event takes place from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday 18 August at the Bicycle Network offices and is proudly supported by the Public Transport Association Australia New Zealand.
