Bike riders in the Heidelberg and Yarra Flats area are being sought for a focus group next week to give feedback on a plan to improve the local bike network.
A group of 8 – 12 commuter, recreational and mountain bike riders is needed for the session that will be held on either 4 or 5 July. The exact time and date will be determined by the availability of the group.
The session will be run by consulting group Capire on behalf of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
The group will discuss the following the help inform a Precinct Structure Plan for the area:
- Access and connectivity improvements
- Mountain bike trails
- Facilities that could be part of the future network.
Feedback will be used to inform planning and design decisions for the precinct into the future, to reflect the Yarra River Protection Act.
