world teachers day
Here's to teachers!

Every day, teachers commit themselves wholeheartedly to supporting young people around the country, helping them build a better future for themselves and for Australia.

We don’t know how they do it sometimes, but we are glad they do!

The last Friday of October is when Australia traditionally celebrates World Teachers’ Day – an opportunity to acknowledge this valuable work and celebrate the efforts and achievements of our teachers.

From a Ride2School perspective, none of what we strive to achieve would be possible without the ongoing support and cooperation of you, the teachers.

Your backing of our mission to help get kids physically active on their way to and from school is critical to the success of the program, and we’re super grateful for your help.

This year, we had 965 schools register for Ride2School Day, which saw over 350,000 students practice getting active on their way to school, and helped promote healthy habits for the next generation.

So to all the teachers out there, the Bicycle Network team says thank you!

Enjoy this special day, you deserve it.

The Ride2School team say thanks to the teachers!
