Three stations have seen the introduction (and re-introduction) of Parkiteer facilities over the past month.
Bell's new station has a new integrated Parkiteer facility, with a capacity of 28 bike parking spaces. The facility is located at the south-west corner of the station, right next to the commuter carpark.
Gowrie station is the lucky recipient of a Parkiteer facility from Greensborough which is undergoing rail duplication and station upgrade works. The Parkiteer facility at Gowrie is located within the commuter carpark at the corner of Wells Ct.
Preston's new station sees the introduction of a new integrated Parkiteer facility, with 42 bike parking spaces, located at the north-west corner of the station. The station will also see the reintroduction of a revamped, standalone Parkiteer facility located at the south-east side of the station, which will help ease the demand of bike parking at the station. The standalone facility is scheduled to be open by the end of the year.
More Parkiteers to come
There are several Parkiteer facilities in the pipeline for the remainder of 2022. Stations that will see new facilities include Yarraman, Upper Ferntree Gully and Merlynston. Keep an eye out for them, and email parkiteer@bicyclenetwork.com.au for more information.
Parkiteer is free to use. Visit parkiteer.com.au to register and find your nearest Parkiteer secure bike parking facility.
