Help us advocate for vulnerable road users

Bicycle Network is planning to make a submission to the Inquiry into the impact of road safety behaviours on vulnerable road users and we want to hear the voices of our 50,000-plus members and friends.

The Legislative Assembly Economy and Infrastructure Committee’s inquiry into the impact of road safety behaviour on vulnerable road users is open until Friday 19 May.

The inquiry will examine the changes in road user behaviour during and after the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on road safety for people at risk such as pedestrians, bike riders and motorcycle riders, children 7 and under, older people and mobility device users.

The committee plans to hold public hearings later this year and will report its findings to Parliament in March 2024.

At Bicycle Network, we believe that physical activity is vital for a happy, healthy life. It's our mission to make it easier for everyone to ride a bike regularly.

To support our advocacy efforts in Victoria in 2023, we are asking you to take the time to complete this members' survey, which we will use to inform our submission.

Please complete the survey before Wednesday 3 May to take our survey.
