Greensborough trail detour

Riders on the Greenborough Bypass Trail face lengthy detours this month as part of planning work to complete the M80 Ring Road.

The North East Link Project has closed the path until late December while it undertakes ground sampling tests beneath roads, footpaths and grassed areas along the path between Kempston Street and Plenty River in Greensborough.

The detour via Sellars Street, Gillingham Street, Macorna Street and the Metropolitan Ring Road Path will take riders across to the east side of the bypass.

The route crosses the M80 at the Macorna Street Bridge.

The detour is signed and traffic controllers will direct riders and pedestrians during working hours.
