Learn all about biodiversity and biking to work

Riding a bike to work brings all kinds of benefits, and an upcoming biodiversity event is the perfect place to learn about them.

Hosted by Regeneration Projects, the event "Helmet on, Backpack on, Lights on … It's time to get to work!" is an open forum discussing the good things about commuting via bike.

It will take place on International Biodiversity Day on Wednesday 22 May, and will look at bike commuting through an environmental lense, exploring the links between biodiversity, urban design and workplace wellbeing.

The event will run between 5.30pm-7pm at Building 13, RMIT University’s Graduate School of Business and Law at 405 Russell Street, Melbourne.

Special guests include:

  • Bernadette Thomas, Merri Creek management committee
  • Thomas Flugge, McGregor Coxall
  • Ben Roberts, Metro Trains
  • Chris Speed, RMIT University.

Tickets are $30 or free for members of the Melbourne Business & Biodiversity Circle.
