The disruptions will be underway from Sunday 26 May and continue through to Monday 15 July and the projects moves in stages along the roadway.

An early works stage will take place first from 26 May until 21 June with activities at nights Sunday to Thursday only, but will result in night rod and intersection closures.

Major works get underway from 9pm Friday 28 June and will go 24 hours a day until 5am on Monday 15 July.

There will be full kerb to kerb road closures and fencing requiring detours for bike riders, pedestrians and traffic. More details may be available closer to the closure dates.

On-street parking and some side streets will be closed for storage of materials.

The intersection of Epsom Road and Scotia Street and Maribyrnong Road will reopen to north-south traffic at 5am, Thursday 4 July 2024.

During this period there will be delivery and welding of rails, excavating old and installing new tram tracks and road surface, power and pole renewal, road and line marking, reinstating the site.

The intersection of Epsom Road and Scotia Street and Maribyrnong Road will reopen to north-south traffic at 5am, Thursday 4 July 2024.

Businesses located around the works area will remain open during the works.
