National Ride2Work Day is fast approaching and those looking for some motivation to get the wheels turning this spring are encouraged to get involved in Australia’s biggest celebration of commuter bike riding.
Whether you’re a committed commuter, never ridden to the office, or pedal in part-time, National Ride2Work Day is a great opportunity to discover and enjoy the many benefits a bike ride can bring.
Click here to register your ride and help us understand where we need to build better places to ride.
Bicycle Network will be hosting breakfasts between 7am and 9am around Melbourne to mark the event, at the following locations and times:
- Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf Time
- Dixon Street Car Park, Kingston
- Duckett Street, Brunswick – along the Upfield City trail
- Hobart Breakfast, Mawson Place
There’ll be coffees, bike tune ups, breakfast snacks and hearty discussion around the beauty of commuting by bike.
Whether or not you can make it to one of the events listed above, everyone is encouraged to get into the spirit of National Ride2Work Day by organising their own workplace events.
