Ride2Work Day next Wednesday
A final reminder that this year's Ride2Work Day takes place on Wednesday 15 October and we'd love you to get involved!

Ride2Work Day is a fun-filled day aimed at getting more people commuting by bike. It doesn't matter whether you currently ride to work every day or are just dipping your toe into bike riding, we'd love to have you along for the ride.

Bicycle Network will be running activations across Melbourne and Hobart to celebrate the occasion, featuring free food, coffee, bike tune-ups and much more for commuting riders. Pop by one of our activations to join in the fun:

  • Mawsons Place, Hobart, 7.30am to 9am
  • Channel Highway, Kingston (Hobart), 7.30am to 9am.
  • Polly Woodside Park, Melbourne Convention Centre, 7am to 9am
  • Dixon Street Car Park, Kingston, Melbourne, 7.30am to 8.45am
  • Janet Milman Reserve, 192 Park Street, Fitzroy North, Melbourne, 7am to 9am (note this location has been updated from Linear Park on Canning Street).
  • South Melbourne Market, 7am to 2pm (independent event, but Bicycle Network will be present)
Or check out our Ride2Work map to find a community event near you at https://maphub.net/cameronc/ride2work-day-2025.

Wherever you're riding from, remember to register your participation in Ride2Work Day to help us understand where you're commuting, how far you travel and where we need to build better bike infrastructure.
