We’re making the call that the next fortnight of rides won’t be blighted by the winds that have buffeted the state for the past month but don’t blame us if we’re wrong! From a short trip through Hobart, meander around Launceston’s trails or coastal pathway adventure, our volunteers have a ride that will suit your cycling soft spot.

The Forth Ramble on Sunday 26 October will provide two ride options to explore the area to Paloona Bridge.
Meet ride leader Roger Nichols at the Forth Recreation Ground car park in Mell Street, ready to ride at 11 am.
The easier 30 km option is to turn around at the bridge and head back to Forth, with the option of continuing downstream to Leith before returning.
The longer, hilly 32km option heads uphill from Paloona Bridge to Melrose and Forthside. Those with surplus energy can continue via Braddons Lookout to Leith before dropping to Leith Road and returning along the river.

Get involved in social rides
If you would like to be one of our social ride leaders, please email our Rides Coordinator with your contact details and what sort of riding you are interested in and we'll let you know when the next Ride Leader Skills Development Workshop is scheduled.
You don't have to be super fit or into competitive riding, our rides are a mixed bag depending on the interests of our ride leaders. They offer everything from short 1–2 hour rides, with stops along the way, to day-long excursions.
Our ambassador routes have been developed by our social rides coordinator Di with help from other riders. It's another way of helping more people to ride if you don't have the time to run regular social rides.
