Upfield Trail disruption at Moreland Station
There will be disruptions for riders and pedestrians along the Upfield Trail near Moreland Station in the next fortnight as Metro Trains conducts investigative works.
 
From 7am to 6pm on selected weekdays between Monday 8 December and Wednesday 17 December, the pedestrian footpath will be closed on a section of Cameron Street from Moreland Station along the Gandolfo Gardens.
 
The bike path will remain open but riders should reduce their speed to a maximum of 5km/h as they pass the works.
 
From 7am to 6pm on selected weekdays between Wednesday 10 December and Wednesday 17 December, the pedestrian footpath will be closed on a section of Cameron Street from Cozens Street to Moreland Road, near the basketball court.
 
Pedestrian detours will be in place to allow pedestrians to walk along the bike path past the works area.
 
The bike path will remain open but riders should reduce their speed to a maximum of 5km/h and watch out for pedestrians on the path.
 
Traffic controllers will be in place to assist safe movement.
 
The days of closure may be extended depending on the weather.
