National Ride2School Day is coming up on Friday 20 March 2026, celebrating active travel to and from school across Australia.
This year's event is joyfully represented by the winner of the Design the National Ride2School Day Poster Competition: Justin, a Year 3 student from Boroondara Park Primary School.
Justin's artwork is now the official 2026 poster being shared with schools across Australia, and he won a new bike and helmet for his efforts!
Schools across the country are hopping on board for this year's event to help their students build confidence, independence and healthy habits through bike riding and active travel.
National Ride2School Day is Australia’s biggest celebration of active travel, with more than 350,000 students riding, walking, scooting or skating to school on Friday 20 March.
It's a fantastic day of fun and colour where students, teachers and parents can discover the joy of riding and encourage kids to build active habits for the future.
Register your school for National Ride2School Day
here and be part of the celebration! Signing up is simple, free and a way to access support and be counted as part of the movement.
Let's make this year's event the best yet!
